Sr Java Backend Developer @ New York, NY

Introduction:

Our Client is seeking a Sr Java Backend Developer with strong database skills, as well as experience with AI, GitHub, and Copilot. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing backend applications using Java, Springboot, Oracle, SQL, Kafka, Python, and MQ technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Springboot
• Work closely with the database team to optimize database performance
• Implement AI solutions to enhance application functionality
• Collaborate with the team to integrate new features and enhancements
• Utilize GitHub and Copilot for version control and code optimization
• Integrate Kafka for real-time data streaming
• Utilize Python for scripting and automation tasks
• Work with MQ for messaging and communication between applications

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Experience with Springboot framework
• Strong database skills, particularly with Oracle and SQL
• Knowledge of AI technologies and applications
• Familiarity with GitHub for version control
• Experience with Copilot for code assistance and optimization

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming
• Proficiency in Python programming language
• Knowledge of MQ for messaging and communication
