About the Role

About the Engagement WWT is building a dedicated, multi-year delivery team to support a large enterprise client's firm-wide rollout of the Wiz cloud security platform. The offshore engineering pod is the hands-on execution arm of that team, working under the direction of the Senior Lead Wiz Consultant to keep configuration, integrations, and remediation work moving every week.

What You'll DoHands-On Platform Configuration

• Configure cloud connectors, scanning settings, and onboarding steps as new accounts and workloads are brought into the Wiz platform
• Implement and adjust detection policies and risk rules as directed by the Lead Consultant
• Carry out day-to-day configuration changes and platform housekeeping across the client's environment

Remediation Support

• Triage findings generated by the platform and route them to the right owner
• Work directly with client application and infrastructure teams to help drive findings to closure
• Track remediation status and flag findings that are stalled or need escalation

Integration and Tooling

• Build and maintain integrations between Wiz and ticketing, SIEM, or CI/CD tooling
• Support dashboard creation and routine reporting
• Write and maintain clear documentation and runbooks for the configurations you build

Working as Part of the Team

• Take direction from the Senior Lead Wiz Consultant and raise questions early when something is unclear
• Coordinate closely with the other offshore engineer to divide work and avoid duplicated effort
• Escalate complex architecture or design questions to the Lead Consultant or Wiz Subject Matter Expert rather than guessing
• Participate in team syncs and contribute clear, concise status updates

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud security engineering or a related technical role
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Basic familiarity with CNAPP or CSPM concepts such as cloud posture management, vulnerability scanning, or workload protection
• Comfortable following established processes and configuration standards set by a more senior team member
• Clear written communication skills, since most coordination with the onshore lead happens asynchronously
• Willingness to work core hours that overlap with the onshore team's schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience with the Wiz platform
• Exposure to scripting or automation (Python, Terraform, or similar)
• Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security concepts
• Experience with ticketing or governance tools such as ServiceNow or Jira
• Prior experience on a distributed or offshore delivery team supporting a US or enterprise client

Tools and Technology

• Wiz platform: hands-on configuration experience expected, deeper expertise built on the job
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Container and Kubernetes security concepts
• Ticketing and governance tooling (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) Growth PathThis role is built to develop platform depth quickly under the direct mentorship of the Senior Lead Wiz Consultant. Strong performers on this engagement are well positioned to grow into a Wiz Subject Matter Expert or Lead Consultant role on future engagements as they build experience.

What Success Looks Like

• Configuration and remediation work is completed accurately and on schedule without requiring rework
• Questions and blockers are raised early rather than discovered during review
• Documentation is clear enough that someone else on the team could pick up the work
• The Lead Consultant trusts this person with increasingly independent assignments over time
