Financial Analyst - Remote

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Financial Analyst for a Remote position with a Leading Technology Firm located in West Coast or WA - DC . This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

In this highly impactful role, you will be a key team member of a horizontal cross-functional team responsible for core FP&A deliverables and projects. This position focuses on making the finance division more efficient while delivering high-quality, critical planning work by leveraging deep expertise in FP&A processes and building cross-functional relationships to communicate financial insights to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic guidance and lead cross-team ownership for a key vertical within the finance department
• Spearhead the development and implementation of standardized processes across the cross-functional team, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency
• Lead close and forecast cycles, including defining timelines, templates, and processes, and the preparation of flux commentary and forecasts
• Help execute the annual budget process, partnering with vertical FP&A teams to allocate resources and inform key business decisions
• Drive key systems efforts across the finance organization
• Develop and maintain proactive, collaborative partnerships with vertical FP&A teams, consolidations, corporate FP&A and other cross-functional teams
• Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance
• Provide thought partnership and foster collaboration across the finance organization

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in the finance field
• Proven experience with FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Experience with financial systems and tools such as Tableau and other internal financial software

Desired skills:

• Advanced experience with Excel
• Experience with AI tools
• Previous experience in the high-tech industry

Pay range: up to $61.87 per hour
