Senior Android Developer

Location: Remote to Start (Strong Preference for Bentonville, AR Relocation for Future FTE Conversion)
Duration: Long-Term Contract with Potential Conversion

While the position is initially remote, candidates who are open to relocating to Bentonville, Arkansas for future full-time opportunities will be strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience consuming and integrating GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with Node.js-based backend services.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack libraries, and mobile architecture patterns.
• Experience with RESTful services, asynchronous programming, and network optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing practices.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing customer-facing applications in retail, eCommerce, loyalty, or membership platforms.
• Prior large-scale retail experience.
• Experience with modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum product teams.
• Exposure to cloud-native and microservices environments.
• Understanding of analytics, personalization, recommendations, or customer engagement features.
