Systems Administrator I with Security Clearance

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Fallon Range Training Complex (FRTC) Systems Administrator I to join our team in Naval Air Station (NAS) Fallon, NV . This position is on-site 5 days a week. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Provides technical expertise in the management of a public and/or private network; tests and analyzes network facilities, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers
* Installs, supports and/or maintains LANs and/or WANs; evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades
* Performs technical analyses of software, hardware and transmission facilities using various diagnostic tools in support of efficient network operations
* Monitors data traffic and controls network resource performance to ensure high-quality transmission
* Identifies, diagnoses and resolves technical problems related to network failure/integrity and usage of PC hardware and software. Requires specialized skills or is multi-skilled developed through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
* Completes work with a limited degree of supervision Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (4 years of experience can be substituted for a degree)
* 0+ years of information technology experience Preferred Qualifications * Master of Science Degree in Information Technology or related field.
* Familiarity with the United States Navy preferred.
* Experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE Clearance Requirements * Must have a current/active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS. Physical Requirements * 10% travel anticipated.
* Work will require movement from ManTech Site to Government for client meetings and support functions.
* The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which involve delivering presentations.
