Senior ChromeOS Administrator

Role Summary
This position involves managing and supporting enterprise ChromeOS endpoints within a secure, 24x7 production environment. The focus is on ensuring endpoint reliability, security, and compliance through effective administration of device policies, network connectivity, and certificate management. This role requires a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional capable of operating within critical systems requiring constant availability.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support large-scale enterprise Chromebook fleets in a 24x7 operational environment.
• Manage VPN connectivity and configure certificate-based authentication for ChromeOS devices.
• Maintain device policies through Google Admin Console to ensure security and compliance.
• Coordinate certificate lifecycle management using Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM or similar UEM/MDM solutions.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, authentication, and OS-level issues on ChromeOS endpoints.
• Monitor endpoint compliance, identify policy violations, and implement remediation actions.
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call support rotation for critical production systems.
• Document platform standards, configurations, and operational procedures for team reference.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and identity teams to ensure endpoint reliability and security.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience administering enterprise endpoint environments, with a focus on ChromeOS or Chromebooks.
• Hands-on experience with Google Admin Console for device policy management.
• Experience working with Omnissa Workspace ONE UEM or similar UEM/MDM tools for certificate lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of VPN connectivity and certificate-based authentication protocols.
• Proven troubleshooting skills for OS, network, and authentication issues in a production setting.
• Ability to work effectively within a 24x7 on-call rotation supporting mission-critical systems.
• Demonstrated security awareness and operational discipline in regulated and large-scale environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise environments in fast-paced, high-demand settings.

Publishing Pay Range: $70.13 - $78.46 hourly
This position is based in office and requires employee to work on-site.
