Firmware Test Engineer

HIRING: Firmware Test Engineer

Location: Maple Grove, MN — 3–4 days onsite per week

Requirements:
• Hands-on firmware and embedded systems testing experience
• Firmware Verification & Validation (V&V) experience
• Requirements-based and risk-based testing
• Experience creating test cases, test protocols, and verification plans
• Requirements traceability and Traceability Matrix experience
• Manual system-level testing of embedded and firmware-controlled devices
• Hardware/software integration testing
• I2C and SPI protocol knowledge
• Experience with verification test reports and DHF documentation
• Strong technical writing and audit-ready documentation
• Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices
• Understanding of medical device verification standards and compliance

Preferred:
• Class II/Class III medical device experience
• FDA submission support
• Pump-based, infusion, or life-sustaining medical device experience
• Electromechanical device testing
• Test automation frameworks/tools
• IEC/ISO standards
• Experience developing verification processes and best practices
