Job description

Role : Lead Performance Engineer

Location: New Jersey, NJ | Hybrid |

Job Description:

  • Design and lead performance testing strategies for enterprise, cloud, web, API, and microservices applications.

  • Develop and execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using JMeter or similar tools.

  • Perform frontend performance testing for Next.js applications and API testing for REST/JSON and SOAP services.

  • Analyze performance bottlenecks across applications, networks, and AWS infrastructure.

  • Monitor CPU, memory, I/O, network, and application metrics using APM tools.

  • Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and present findings and optimization recommendations.

Required Skills: Apache JMeter, performance engineering, Next.js testing, API automation, AWS infrastructure troubleshooting, and CI/CD.

Good to Have: LoadRunner, k6, Gatling, Datadog, Dynatrace, Jenkins, and Git.
