Technical Project Manager Remote Location

Remote Role

Technical Project Manager (TPM) for techengineering heavy customers.

In this role, you will partner closely with the Forward Deployed Engineering team to translate complex technical requirements into actionable project plans. You aren t just tracking deadlines you are actively identifying risks, resolving dependencies across multi-cloud environments, and streamlining workflows to help our developers do their best work. You are the focal point for project health, providing the organization with the clarity and structure needed to deliver world-class data and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Program Execution: Lead the planning and delivery of cross-functional programs, ensuring projects stay on track across distributed engineering teams.

Technical Integration: Deeply understand the Databricks architecture to anticipate dependencies and technical bottlenecks between various platform components.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between engineering and business units, translating technical constraints into clear timelines for leadership.

Process Optimization: Implement and refine Agile or Kanban workflows to improve team velocity without introducing unnecessary friction.

Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify red flags in the development cycle, conducting root-cause analysis for blockers and driving resolution.

Required Qualifications

Technical Background: A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, with the ability to engage in whiteboard discussions with senior engineers.

Domain Expertise: Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Spark, SQL), Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), and AIML workflows.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical programproject management, preferably with Big Data and Financial Services background

Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data-driven tools (Jira, Confluence) to track metrics and report on program health
