Job Description

Hello,

Hope you are doing well!

Position: Sr Power Platform & UiPath Developer
LocationMount Laurel, NJ (Hybrid Role)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Job description
Power Platform (Dataverse / Canvas Apps / Power Automate)
  • Design and build Canvas Apps and model-driven app components that front-end automated business processes for the customer stakeholders.
  • Model, extend, and maintain Dataverse schemas — tables, relationships, choices, business rules, security roles, and environment-level ALM.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power Automate cloud and desktop flows, including integration with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, SQL, Outlook/Exchange, and TD-internal APIs.
  • Implement solution-based ALM (dev → test → prod) using solution layering, environment variables/connection references, and managed solutions.
  • Apply Power Platform governance, DLP policies, and customer security/compliance standards to all apps and flows.

UiPath / RPA
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy end-to-end RPA solutions using UiPath Studio, REFramework, and reusable component libraries.
  • Build and support process migrations from UiPath On-Premises to UiPath Automation Cloud / Orchestrator, including asset, queue, credential, and package migration.
  • Configure and manage Orchestrator objects — processes, queues, assets, triggers, robots, folders — for both on-prem and cloud tenants.
  • Perform solution design, PDD/SDD documentation, unit testing, UAT support, and production cutover for assigned automations.
  • Troubleshoot bot exceptions, performance issues, and environment defects across dev, QA, and production.

Cross-Cutting / Program Responsibilities
  • Translate customer business requirements into technical designs that select the right tool (Power Platform vs. UiPath vs. hybrid) for the use case.
  • Build integrations between Power Platform and UiPath where a process spans both stacks (e.g., a Canvas App triggering or monitoring a UiPath queue/process via API).
  • Participate in solution architecture discussions, estimation, and sprint/iteration planning with the customer Technical Lead and Project Leader.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation (design specs, run books, support handover documents) to client program standards.
  • Support QA/testing cycles, defect triage, and production support/hypercare for delivered automations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, infrastructure, and security teams to resolve environment, access, and compliance issues.
  • Mentor junior developers on Power Platform and UiPath best practices; participate in peer code/solution reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 9+ years of overall software/automation development experience.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on with Power Platform: Dataverse data modeling, Canvas App development (formulas, components, responsive design), and Power Automate flow design (cloud flows, desktop flows, approvals, error handling).
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on with UiPath: Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, queue-based processing, and exception handling; exposure to both On-Premises and Automation Cloud/Orchestrator is required.
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse security model (roles, business units, teams) and Power Platform ALM (solutions, pipelines, environment variables).
  • Proficiency in integrating Power Platform/UiPath with REST APIs, SQL Server, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Strong understanding of RPA solution design principles: process decomposition, reusable components, exception handling frameworks, and scalability.
  • Experience with on-prem to cloud RPA migration (UiPath Orchestrator migration, package/dependency management, credential/asset remapping).
  • Solid SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft certification: PL-400 (Power Platform Developer) or PL-200 (Power Platform Functional Consultant).
  • UiPath certification: UiPath Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) or UiPath Certified Professional – Developer.
  • Experience with Power Apps component framework (PCF), AI Builder, or Copilot Studio.
  • Experience with UiPath Document Understanding, Action Center, or Test Suite.
  • Prior experience delivering automation solutions in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Experience working within a staff augmentation / managed services delivery model for a large enterprise client.
  • Work Environment & Logistics

Thanks & Regards
