Join Our Team as a Business Analyst - Transportation & Shipment Visibility

We’re seeking a driven Business Analyst to lead the charge in enhancing shipment tracking and visibility systems, ensuring seamless real-time tracking, operational insights, and stakeholder satisfaction. Your work will directly influence how companies manage their logistics networks, optimize performance, and deliver exceptional service.

Start Date: ASAP 
Duration: 6 -12 months
Location: Remote
What You’ll Do:
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Shipment Tracking, Project44, and supply chain visibility solutions.
  • Lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and platform enhancements focusing on shipment visibility initiatives.
  • Collaborate with transportation, supply chain, data, and IT teams to improve tracking accuracy, milestone visibility, alerts, and reporting.
  • Work closely with visibility vendors to identify issues, support new feature integration, and drive solution improvements.
  • Analyze impacts across systems such as TMS, WMS, and carrier integrations, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperability.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation to support platform upgrades.
  • Lead UAT efforts and support functional testing, production deployments, and post-launch validation.
  • Foster alignment among cross-functional teams to ensure visibility initiatives deliver predictable and measurable results.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in transportation or logistics.
  • 3–5 years working within Agile environments, with strong skills in user story creation and acceptance criteria.
  • Proven project management and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with transportation, logistics, or shipment visibility tools such as Project44 or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of real-time tracking, carrier integrations, shipment milestones, and visibility analytics.
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in transportation, supply chain, or logistics is advantageous.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to coordinate and lead UAT and functional testing efforts.
  • Flexibility to support deployment activities and post-release validation.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across IT, business, and external vendor teams.
