Job Description

7224 - Information Technology Infrastructure Analyst (Candidate Must Reside in the Sacramento Area to be Considered)

 

Location: Elk Grove / Sacramento, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months, with potential extensions
Job Type: Contract

 

Staff Tech is seeking an experienced Information Technology Infrastructure Analyst to support enterprise infrastructure operations in a multi-site environment. This role is responsible for Windows Server administration, Active Directory management, VMware administration, server hardware support, troubleshooting, systems maintenance, and infrastructure-related projects. The selected candidate will work closely with technical and non-technical staff to maintain reliable and secure IT services.

 

This is an onsite position supporting multiple Sacramento-area facilities. Telework is not available.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Strong troubleshooting skills, both remotely and onsite
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Experience supporting both technical and non-technical users
  • Experience performing server hardware installations, rack and stack, cabling, and operating system installations
  • Experience managing HPE DL380/DL360 server hardware, firmware upgrades, and iLO administration
  • Strong Windows Server administration experience including installation, management, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Experience installing and maintaining UPS systems
  • Experience supporting Windows operating systems within an Active Directory enterprise environment
  • Active Directory administration including:
    • User accounts
    • Computer accounts
    • Security groups
    • Distribution lists
  • Experience with Windows Server Print Services and File Share administration
  • Experience with Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC)
  • Microsoft SCCM/MECM experience including package creation and reporting
  • Networking troubleshooting and support experience
  • PowerShell scripting and automation experience
  • File backup and restore experience
  • Basic experience supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

 

Desired Qualifications

  • RHEL 9 and RHEL 10 administration experience
  • DNS administration experience
  • Microsoft Azure / Entra ID administration experience
  • Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Asset management and inventory tracking experience
