Sales Account Manager - Construction & Utilities

Location: Colnbrook
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Permanent

Reed is recruiting on behalf of a successful distributor within the construction and utilities sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional to manage existing accounts, generate quotations, secure orders and develop new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Prepare and follow up quotations
• Generate new business opportunities
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships
• Coordinate deliveries and resolve customer queries
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service

About You

• Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, account management or business development
• Experience within construction, M&E, building services, utilities or engineering distribution preferred
• Background as a Sales Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Internal Sales Executive, Technical Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager or Account Manager
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Proactive, commercially focused and target-driven
