Quality Inspector/Programmer 1st Shift (M-F 7:30am - 4:00pm)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Programmer to join our advanced manufacturing team. In this role, you will develop, validate, and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and 3D scanning programs to inspect additive and machined components. You will independently conduct visual and mechanical dimensional inspections, verify conformance to engineering specifications, and document processes to uphold rigorous aerospace and high-precision manufacturing standards.

You will independently conduct visual and mechanical dimensional inspections, verify conformance to engineering specifications, and document processes to uphold rigorous aerospace and high-precision manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- CMM & 3D Programming: Write, test, and implement CMM programs using Zeiss Calypso and 3D scanning programs via GOM Blue Light software.
- Inspections: Perform first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, pin gages, and optical comparators.
- Blueprint & GD&T Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T controls to verify part compliance.
- Planning & Instruction: Create detailed inspection plans and standardized operational instructions for operators to execute established CMM programs.
- Defect Control: Identify, document, and segregate non-conforming material in strict accordance with quality management procedures.
- Defect Inspection: Inspect parts for surface defects, including cracks, pits, and irregularities resulting from additive or machining processes.
- Data Management: Compile, analyze, and format inspection results using Microsoft Office and specialized manufacturing software.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree, technical trade school graduate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of dimensional inspection and programming experience.
- Proven experience programming with Zeiss Calypso and GOM Blue Light software packages.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret advanced technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a demonstrated robust work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in aerospace (AS9100) or additive manufacturing environments.
