Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's retail client is looking for a Martech Product Owner E-Commerce. This is a fully remote role and preference for someone based on PST but need to be able to work these hours of 7am-2pm PST. This is a 6-month contract with long-term potential.

Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, curious, and enthusiastic Product Owner to join our eCommerce team. You will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the vision for our eCommerce platform, delivering innovative and seamless online shopping experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our eCommerce solutions meet business needs and enhance customer satisfaction.

Day to day, this role is expected to love ecommerce and deliver quality features and capabilities that create a seamless customer experience from discovery to conversion and enable our brand growth. Your ability to identify challenges and creatively solve problems in a fast-paced environment will not only be welcomed but celebrated. You will perform detailed requirements analysis, document existing processes, develop ideas for improving processes, gain consensus on these improvements, perform user acceptance testing and help with change management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of experience in product management working end to end
  • Experience in an ecommerce environment - understanding the different features that make up the customer journey (search & browse, product detail page, checkout flow, etc.)
  • Experience with MarTech within retail environment and working with social media integrations is a plus
  • Experience utilizing AI
  • Strong discovery process - working with stakeholders, understanding nuances and business impact, build a roadmap within a project discovery board, etc.
  • Experience with Jira, specifically authoring effective JIRA stories for functional requirements, detailed acceptance criteria, UAT, helping with testing/tickets, and prioritization with delivery teams
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - someone who can proactively bring ideas to the team to
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Understanding how marketing influences ecommerce customer journey (i.e., Google Analytics, conversion triggers, etc.)

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Background in overseeing technical projects from conception to completion
  • Broad understanding of various programming concepts, without needing deep technical know-how
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement in project outcomes

  • Skills in coordinating different software services to work together smoothly
  • Self-motivated, with a knack for prioritizing effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communicator, capable of breaking down complex ideas for various audiences
  • A collaborative approach to work, valuing diverse perspectives and team input

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
