Security Software Data Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Data Visualization Engineer with strong experience in Power BI, SQL, ETL, AWS, Python, and PowerShell. The ideal candidate will develop interactive cybersecurity dashboards and reporting solutions that help technical teams and leadership gain actionable insights from complex data.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations.
• Build data models, DAX measures, semantic layers, and interactive reports.
• Work with ETL pipelines, data integrations, and large datasets.
• Write complex SQL queries and support data validation and quality processes.
• Use Python and PowerShell for automation, data processing, and integration.
• Work with AWS/cloud-based data platforms.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, data engineering, and business teams.
• Support testing, deployment, documentation, and ongoing optimization.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and peer reviews.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years Power BI development experience, including Power BI Desktop, Service, and Report Builder.
• 3+ years ETL/Data Engineering experience.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with AWS.
• Strong Python and PowerShell scripting skills.
• Experience with data modeling, DAX, dashboard development, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Preferred: Snowflake, cybersecurity/security analytics, KPIs/KRIs, Power BI administration, and cloud-native development.
