Are you a proactive HR professional who enjoys building relationships, providing trusted advice, and making a meaningful impact? This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic HR team in a hands-on generalist role supporting the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the GEDU HR Manager, you will provide HR advice and guidance across four UK legal entities and multiple sites, while partnering with senior managers across a diverse portfolio of brands, including one with an international presence in nine countries. You will also work closely with GBS UK on UK-wide people matters and initiatives.

Location: London (On-Site) Please note: There is a requirement to be in the office 5 days per week.
About the Role:

Direct managers and employees to appropriate guidance channels and act as a point of escalation for key HR matters or issues that arise

The ability to process detailed information effectively and consistently, including (but not limited to), salaried and casual employees, ensuring all payroll deadlines are met

Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to direct and support onboarding of new candidates

Responsible for delivering HR support on employee lifecycle processes relating to probation, contract changes, DBS, sickness, extended family leave, holidays, resignations and retirement by liaising with managers, producing correspondence and updating HR systems to all staff across the relevant employee cohort whilst working as part of team to deliver an overall seamless service

Deliver quality weekly/monthly reporting as directed by the line manager

Ensure all HR policies and practices are followed and implemented

Ensuring personnel filing is maintained and archived in accordance with the retention schedules

Manage routine housekeeping data checks to support the integrity of the data and system applications

Ensure the delivery of core HR services by adhering to best practice on all HR practices with a focus on continuous improvement

Undertake project work as delegated to by the line manager

Maintain confidentiality in relation to people matters and information management complying with GDPR

Develop and maintain strong relationships with all staff to achieve high levels of trust, respect, and professionalism
About you:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent
-
HR administration and people skills
-
Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines
-
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
-
Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related HR software
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to navigate conflict management
-
Desirable - CIPD (Level 5), or equivalent educational achievement plus experience.
