Claims Microservices Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, modernize, and support secure, scalable Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs for enterprise claims platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
• Lead API modernization, legacy-to-cloud migrations, and service decomposition.
• Build secure, scalable, resilient, production-ready applications.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines and deploy containerized services using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support.
• Conduct code/design reviews and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, security, DevOps, QA, and business teams.

Required

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices expertise.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and enterprise integrations.
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes, cloud, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle.
• Automated testing with JUnit/Mockito, integration and contract testing.
• Production monitoring with Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Healthcare/claims experience.
• Azure/AKS, Azure API Management, Key Vault.
• Kafka/IBM MQ, Redis, Helm, Argo CD, GitOps.
• OpenAPI, OAuth 2.0/OIDC/JWT, API governance.
• Experience with high-volume systems, resiliency, and legacy modernization.

Education:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent experience.
