Location: Charlotte, NC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

Contract Length: 12 Months Initial Assignment (Potential Extension Based on Funding and Roadmap Priorities)

Pay Rate: $56 - 60/hr (OT40)

    Job Summary

    In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Transformation Coaching. This role serves as the Agile Data Product Owner for a defined data product area within the Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Data Analytics & Insights organization.

    The Agile Data Product Owner serves as the business authority responsible for translating strategic business priorities into a well-managed product backlog that delivers trusted, governed, and business-aligned data capabilities. This role partners closely with Product Managers, Data Analysts, Technology, Data Governance, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of enterprise data products supporting reporting, analytics, governance, regulatory compliance, and operational decision-making.
    Day-to-Day Responsibilities
    Product Ownership & Backlog Management
    • Own and prioritize the product backlog
    • Define and refine:
      • Features
      • User Stories
      • Acceptance Criteria
      • Product Priorities
    • Ensure all work is visible and appropriately sequenced within the backlog
    • Accept completed work based on Definition of Done and acceptance criteria
    Data Product Management
    • Translate business requirements into data product capabilities involving:

      • Data Ingestion
      • Data Conformance
      • Semantic Modeling
      • Reporting & Analytics
      • Metadata

    • Support enterprise data modernization and cloud platform initiatives
