Role Description The Site Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based on sites across the country where ever our sites are live, responsible for overseeing day-to-day construction activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role includes coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, managing logistics and materials, and monitoring progress against project plans. The Site Project Manager conducts regular site inspections, addresses technical and operational issues, and ensures adherence to health, safety, and quality standards. The position also involves maintaining accurate documentation, reporting project status to senior management and clients, and driving continuous improvement in site operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction activities.
- Candidates should possess expeditor and expediting skills to track materials, equipment, and subcontractor deliverables and resolve delays.
- Candidates should possess inspection skills to verify workmanship, compliance with drawings and specifications, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess logistics management skills to organize deliveries, site access, storage, and resource allocation.
- Relevant experience as a Site Manager, Project Manager, or similar role in construction or civil engineering.
- Knowledge of construction methods, health and safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and use of basic project or site management software.
- Recognized qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
- Appropriate site safety certifications (e.g., SMSTS or equivalent) and a valid driver’s license are advantageous.
