Job description

Hospice Sales Executive, Referral Source Development

Location: San Jose, CA (Territory: San Jose and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000 to $170,000 per year, plus uncapped commission

Grow a hospice program across San Jose by building lasting relationships with the physicians, hospitals, and facilities that refer patients.

Must-Haves

  • 2+ years of hospice or home health sales experience (required)
  • Established local referral sources in the San Jose area
  • Proven, verifiable sales performance
  • Ability to build and expand relationships with diverse referral partners
  • Familiarity with contact management software
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Stable work history

What You’ll Do

  • Promote hospice programs and services throughout the territory
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and community partners
  • Develop new referral sources and grow existing accounts
  • Represent the organization with energy and compassion
  • Manage your pipeline and activity in contact management software

Nice-to-Haves

  • Existing relationships with Bay Area hospital discharge planners and case managers
  • Experience exceeding census or admissions goals

Compensation and Benefits

  • $150,000 to $170,000 per year
