Job Description:

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI QA Lead with a strong foundation in Quality Assurance and hands-on expertise in modern testing practices. This role will lead the adoption and execution of AI-led testing strategies for AI-focused initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines traditional QA leadership skills with practical experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve test design, test execution, quality engineering, and defect prediction. This individual will work closely with project teams, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to establish best practices for testing AI-enabled solutions and driving quality across the AI project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance activities for AI-enabled and AI-driven projects.
• Define and implement AI-led testing strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Evaluate and leverage AI-powered testing tools to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection.
• Design test approaches for AI solutions, machine learning models, generative AI applications, and intelligent automation use cases.
• Collaborate with business, architecture, development, and data teams to understand solution requirements and testing needs.
• Develop and oversee functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data approaches, and quality metrics.
• Establish quality gates and governance processes for AI project delivery.
• Drive test automation initiatives and continuous testing capabilities.
• Analyze testing results, identify risks, and provide quality recommendations to stakeholders.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote quality engineering best practices across teams.
• Participate in solution reviews, release planning, and defect triage activities.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Test Management.
• Strong hands-on experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA leadership.
• Experience implementing and managing test automation frameworks.
• Experience using AI-powered testing tools and capabilities for test generation, defect analysis, or test optimization.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Testing practices.
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, cloud applications, and enterprise platforms.
• Ability to define QA strategies and lead testing efforts across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Intelligent Automation solutions.
• Experience with tools such as Copilot, Testim, Functionize, Mabl, Tricentis, Selenium, Playwright, or similar AI-enabled testing platforms.
• Knowledge of model validation, AI output testing, prompt testing, bias testing, and AI risk assessment.
• Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Relevant QA certifications (ISTQB, Certified Test Manager, Quality Engineering certifications) preferred.
