The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902 it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels are a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Cooperate well with colleagues in own team and across departments

• Ensure that all in-house events and meetings run seamlessly - from weddings, dinners, and cocktail parties to conferences

• Deliver flawless service to ensure we meet the expectations of our discerning guests

• Making a warm first impression on our guests while delivering our standards of service.

• Tailor your approach so that high quality results are achieved

• Be knowledgeable of the hotel, our facilities and local area

• Take ownership of performing the job well in line with the departmental standards

We offer various shifts that can fit your lifestyle, whether you prefer daytime hours or evenings. This will help you to balance your work, studies and personal life.

The salary for this hourly team member is £13 gross.
