Working Hours: Days - Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business at its newly relocated, modern and clean facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to join a well-maintained working environment, carrying out a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance across site machinery and equipment.

The successful candidate will be multi-skilled, with a strong mechanical background and a slight electrical bias, helping to minimise downtime and ensure equipment operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

  • Troubleshoot machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and performance.

  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

About You
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong mechanical maintenance skills with some electrical fault-finding experience.

  • Able to diagnose faults and work independently.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and preventative maintenance.

  • Relevant engineering qualifications or an apprenticeship would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?
  • Salary of £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience.

  • Days-based working pattern.

  • Monday to Friday working, with an early finish on Fridays.

  • Opportunity to work at a newly relocated, clean and modern facility.

  • Stable, long-term opportunity within an established manufacturing business.
