Briefly Describe the Work:
GITI is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to prototype, build, and deploy modern web applications to support a General Services Administration (GSA) contract. The ideal candidate will leverage modern open-source software to manage all aspects of server-side processing, efficient data storage, and seamless integration with front-end user interfaces. You will thrive in an agile and lean environment, routinely deploying rapid changes and ensuring high-quality, end-to-end software delivery.
Core Responsibilities:

• Use modern open-source software to prototype, develop, and deploy scalable backend web applications and server-side processing logic.
• Design, generate, and maintain highly efficient data storage solutions and complex database schemas (SQL and NoSQL).
• Integrate backend server logic and APIs seamlessly with front-end user interfaces and client-side applications.
• Work comfortably within an agile and lean environment to routinely deploy iterative code changes and enhancements.
• Optimize both client-side interfaces and back-end servers for maximum speed, scalability, and stability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA to ensure technical feasibility and translate requirements into functional software.
• Participate in peer code reviews, troubleshoot complex software defects across the stack, and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

• Professional experience in software development, system integration, and full-stack engineering.
• Deep proficiency in front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS) and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Vast knowledge of back-end coding platforms and open-source languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, or PHP.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in agile delivery models (ex. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and DevSecOps frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in Agile delivery models (ex. SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe) and a DevSecOps framework.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with front-end build tools and bundlers (e.g., Webpack, Vite).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience writing automated software tests across the stack (e.g., Cypress or Jest for front-end; API/unit testing for the back-end).

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or Azure Developer Associate
• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)
