"POSITION SUMMARY: The Vice President, Business & Function Finance, plays a pivotal role within the Financial Planning & Analysis job function, specifically within the Financial Planning & Analysis job family. This position is integral to BNY's commitment to financial excellence and strategic growth. The role involves providing insightful financial analysis and strategic recommendations to support business decisions, aligning with BNY's strategic pillars of operational efficiency and client focus. By embodying BNY's principles of integrity, collaboration, and innovation, the Vice President will ensure that financial strategies are effectively implemented to drive the organization's success. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead comprehensive financial analysis and reporting by leveraging expertise in financial planning to support strategic business decisions. Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to guide business planning and performance evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations, fostering a culture of informed decision-making. Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and variances to drive continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards by maintaining robust financial controls and processes. Support senior leadership in strategic planning initiatives by delivering accurate and timely financial information and analysis. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred. EXPERIENCE: Typically 6-8 years of experience. SKILLS: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in financial software and tools."
