Software Engineer with FSP with Security Clearance

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Security Clearance: Fullscope Polygraph We’re seeking talented Software Engineers with Active FULLSCOPE POLYGRAPH Security Clearances to work on complex, mission-critical software systems. This is an opportunity to solve challenging technical problems across full-stack development, large-scale data processing, real-time systems, analytics, and algorithm development. You’ll work as a key technical contributor, designing and building software that is reliable, scalable, maintainable, and extensible.

The ideal candidate enjoys tackling difficult engineering problems, writing high-quality code, and collaborating with a strong technical team.

What You’ll Do • Design, develop, test, and enhance complex software applications and systems. • Build well-structured, maintainable, and extensible code based on technical requirements. • Develop solutions across backend services, frontend applications, data-intensive systems, and real-time applications. • Analyze and resolve software defects and performance issues. • Review and test software components to ensure quality and compliance with design requirements. • Contribute to system architecture and software design decisions, including technology selection, software reuse, and COTS/GOTS solutions. • Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, integration, and implementation. • Apply modern software development practices, configuration management, and CI/CD processes. • Serve as a technical resource and contribute to design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications • Active TS/SCI with FULLSCOPE Polygraph • 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering or development • Strong experience with one or more of: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or C++ • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming • Experience with full-stack web application development • Experience with technologies such as Angular, React, Spring Boot, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, or ActiveMQ • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines • Ability to communicate technical concepts, design decisions, and performance considerations clearly

Preferred Qualifications • Experience developing algorithms and performing complexity analysis and performance optimization • Experience with multithreaded or high-performance software • Experience designing and implementing modern user interfaces • Experience working with large datasets, real-time systems, analytics, or other computationally intensive applications Why This Role
