Java Developer

Role: Java Developer Clearance: Requires Active SC Clearance Location: UK Remote Inside IR35 The Opportunity We're looking for a talented Java Developer to join a delivery-focused engineering team building modern, scalable applications within a fast-paced Agile environment.

This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about software engineering best practices, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, maintainable code. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.<br />Build scalable, resilient solutions using the Spring Framework or similar technologies.<br />Contribute to system design and architecture discussions.<br />Develop high-quality code using Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern engineering practices.<br />Support containerised deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.<br />Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery practices.<br />Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, and product teams within Agile delivery teams.<br />Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and quality standards.Essential Skills &amp; Experience Strong commercial experience with Java development.<br />Experience with Spring Framework (or equivalent).<br />Solid understanding of software design patterns and their practical application.<br />Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.<br />Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes.<br />Experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.<br />Passion for code quality, automated testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).Desirable Skills Experience with Kafka.<br />Experience with IBM MQ / MQ Series.<br />Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies.<br />Experience working within Agile delivery environments.If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
