Oracle Fusion Test Lead (EBS to Fusion Migration)

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Governance: Own and execute the end-to-end test strategy and master test plan across Financials, Procurement, Projects/Grants, HCM/Payroll, and EPM workstreams.
• Test Cycle Execution: Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), parallel testing cycles (Payroll and AP), regression testing, and mock-conversion/cutover testing.
• Test Automation & Tooling: Evaluate, recommend, and implement test management and automation tools (e.g., Opkey, Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, Selenium-based frameworks).
• Post-Go-Live Support: Build a reusable automated regression suite to support Oracle’s quarterly update testing cycles post-go-live.
• Integration Testing: Coordinate complex interface testing across 100+ integrations, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), banking systems, Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Primavera Unifier, and third-party benefits vendors.
• Defect Management & Reporting: Lead defect triage meetings, track resolutions, and deliver regular quality metrics and progress reports to the PMO and steering committee.
• Stakeholder Enablement: Prepare and mentor client business users and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for UAT through test script preparation, training, and ongoing execution support.
• Security & Usability: Validate security, role-based access, and segregation of duties (SoD) testing; support candidate-experience usability testing for Oracle Recruiting.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Must-Have:

• Experience: 7+ years of dedicated Oracle implementation or testing experience.
• Lead Background: Proven experience as a Test Lead on at least 2 full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
• Migration Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience testing Oracle EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud migrations.
• Tooling: Strong proficiency with enterprise test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar).
• Communication: Exceptional client-facing presentation and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to guide leadership and business stakeholders through testing phases.

Nice-to-Have:

• Prior testing experience in the Public Sector, Government, or Public Utilities domain.
• Direct experience handling Oracle Fusion Quarterly Update regression testing workflows.
• Professional certifications such as ISTQB or relevant Oracle Cloud Certifications.
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks from scratch.
