AYAN InfoTech is looking for a Project Manager & Business Analyst (Cybersecurity) to join an exciting project based in Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to contribute toward an extremely well structured and mature environment, working on sophisticated enhancement projects.
Role: Project Manager & Business Analyst (Cybersecurity)
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: 6 months with high possible extensions
Experience: 7+ years
Lead end to end delivery of complex ICT, Telecommunications & Cybersecurity initiatives across enterprise/Telco environments. Combine technical PM capability with Agile delivery, governance, financial management & executive stakeholder engagement to deliver secure, scalable, high quality outcomes.
Required Skills and Experience - Project Manager (Cybersecurity Programs) (Budget: 600 AUD/Day)- 7+ years leading delivery across ICT Infrastructure, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity & Enterprise Technology.
- Hands on cyber/security engineering delivery; strong grasp of enterprise security controls, network infrastructure, security operations, Telco tech & systems integration.
- Strong Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe & Waterfall; expert in Jira, Confluence & governance tools.
- Cyber experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment including Jira + Confluence
- Positive attitude and strong communications
- PM needs to manage up, strong governance, manage conflict, player/coach
- Proven management of budgets, forecasting, risks, exec reporting & cross functional teams.
- Excellent executive communication, influencing, negotiation & decision making in complex programs.
- Experience with Sapphire, Taulia, AGS, Ability, EPM365, NIT (QBR/Gameplan); exposure to SIEM, security analytics, automation & detection engineering in Telco; strong financial & enterprise change management; C suite engagement.

As a Business Analyst for Cybersecurity Programs, you will play a critical role in delivering complex technical integration projects that achieve business objectives, customer outcomes, and operational excellence. You will combine strong business analysis capabilities with technical awareness across ICT infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity solutions to ensure successful project execution within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure, enterprise networks, cloud technologies and cybersecurity controls; experience supporting projects involving WAN/LAN, cloud platforms, network integrations, infrastructure transformations, security and connectivity services; knowledge of technical architecture and systems integration principles.
- BA & Project Delivery Skills: Proven experience on large, complex technical/cyber projects; strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; experience with Jira, Confluence and MS Project; ability to support budgets, schedules and project reporting; expertise in requirements elicitation, user stories, process flows and traceability.
- Stakeholder & Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement; strong influencing, negotiation and decision support capabilities; ability to work collaboratively across technical, security and business teams; demonstrated leadership in cross functional project environments.
- Experience within telecommunications, enterprise ICT or large scale infrastructure environments.
- Cyber experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment including Jira + Confluence
- Positive attitude and strong communications.
- BA needs to capture business requirements, drive scrums and own Jira, process documentation and training.
- Exposure to cybersecurity, enterprise transformation and integration programs.
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis (CBAP/IIBA), Project Management, Agile, Cloud, Networking or Cybersecurity are highly regarded.
- Successful delivery of technical/cyber projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder satisfaction and customer outcomes.
- Effective risk and issue management.
