We're looking for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our busy and successful Somerton team.

What you'll be doing

No two days are the same. You'll be the go-to person for customers needing the right parts and advice, helping keep their vehicles moving and their businesses running.

You'll be:

• Assisting customers via phone, email and at the trade counter

• Identifying and sourcing the right truck, trailer and bus parts

• Preparing quotes, processing orders and managing customer enquiries

• Working closely with your teammates to deliver exceptional service

• Supporting warehouse operations and stock activities when required

What you'll bring

Whether you're an experienced Parts Interpreter or looking to build a long-term career in the commercial vehicle industry, we'd love to hear from you.

To be successful in this role, you'll have at least 12 months' experience in a heavy vehicle parts, automotive parts, retail, customer service, warehousing or trade-related environment, along with a genuine interest in automotive or parts and have great customer service skills.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience in automotive or commercial vehicle spare parts sales or service

• 3-4 years in the HV parts industry would be ideal but not essential or

• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in trucks, trailers and buses

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a busy / fast paced environment

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach

• The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organised

• Sound computer and administrative skills

Previous experience in heavy vehicle, truck, trailer or automotive parts sales is highly regarded, however we are also open to trainees who have relevant industry experience and are keen to develop their career as a Spare Parts Interpreter.
