Location: Melbourne, VIC

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract

Work Arrangement: 5 Days Onsite

About the Role

We're seeking a customer-focused IT Support Technician to join an onsite IT support team in Melbourne. This hands on role involves providing Level 1 technical support, resolving desktop and device issues, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 onsite desktop and workstation support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Support Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
• Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Support device management through Microsoft Intune.
• Set up and troubleshoot video conferencing and meeting room AV equipment.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and timely issue resolution.
• Escalate complex technical issues where required.
• Maintain accurate incident records and documentation.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous service improvement.
• Work collaboratively within a small IT support team.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a Level 1 IT Support, Desktop Support, or Help Desk role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across desktop hardware and software.
• Experience supporting:
  • Microsoft Windows 10/11
  • macOS
  • iOS and Android devices
  • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Microsoft Intune
• Exposure to video conferencing and AV technologies is desirable.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Melbourne (5 days per week).
