The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment (hostlers, cranes, top loaders, side loaders) for loading, unloading, and relocating shipping containers.
• Drive hostlers to strategically position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational requirements.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and container movements.
• Adhere to established safety protocols to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver’s license is mandatory for this role.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to function effectively within a team.
• Open availability for night shifts.
