• *The Role**
• Collaborate with bid teams to understand requirements and translate them into achievable timescales for estimates.
• Develop high-impact, cost-effective estimates to shape winning proposals.
• Liaise with operations and supply chain teams to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Support customer and supplier fact-finding exercises.
• Influence key bid decisions based on thorough analysis and estimation.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing build and support activity durations.

• *What You'll Need**
• Proven ability to create detailed Manufacturing Build Instructions, SOPs, and tooling/fixturing designs.
• Understanding of design transition from development to full-scale manufacturing and Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles.
• Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor) for managing complex Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Experience in calculating resourcing profiles and ensuring the right skill mix.
• A qualification in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in estimating future targets and improving processes.
