Senior Data Engineer

Location: Plano, TX Local candidates preferred; onsite final interview
Experience: 12+ years
Position:W2

Role:
Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing enterprise-scale data platforms, with a strong focus on Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and Java/Python. The role involves integrating data from external partners and migrating legacy platforms to modern cloud-based solutions.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years of Data Engineering experience
  • Strong Java and/or Python
  • 3 4+ years Databricks
  • 3 4+ years Snowflake
  • Strong Apache Spark
  • Experience with large-scale data platform modernization
  • Proven technical leadership and mentoring
  • Hands-on experience migrating EMR Databricks and/or EMR Snowflake

Preferred:

  • AWS / EMR
  • Data migration experience
  • Enterprise data ingestion and pipeline development

Ideal Candidate:
A senior hands-on engineer with strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, capable of providing technical direction and progressing toward a broader technical/people leadership role.
