Salesforce Technical Lead/Architect - AI

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Salesforce Lead/Architect with strong Salesforce development and architecture expertise and an interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions while identifying opportunities to integrate AI, automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows.

This role combines technical leadership and hands-on development with the exploration and implementation of Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein AI, Agentforce, generative AI, and AI-powered integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce applications and AI-enabled solutions.

• Develop and maintain Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, APIs, and platform customization.

• Define Salesforce architecture, integration patterns, data models, security controls, and scalable design standards.

• Evaluate and implement Salesforce AI capabilities, including Einstein AI, Agentforce, generative AI, and intelligent automation.

• Identify opportunities to apply AI-driven workflows, predictive analytics, conversational capabilities, and AI agents to business processes.

• Provide hands-on development leadership, perform code reviews, and ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Lead, mentor, and support Salesforce developers while promoting technical excellence and continuous learning.

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Assess emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and models for potential integration with Salesforce applications.

• Implement and maintain integrations between Salesforce, external APIs, AI services, and enterprise systems.

• Establish development standards, testing practices, technical documentation, and governance procedures.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated testing, deployment processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

• Strong expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Salesforce APIs, and platform customization.

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Tech Lead, with responsibility for technical design, architecture, delivery, and team mentoring.

• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, security, integrations, governor limits, and enterprise design patterns.

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts and the ability to identify practical AI use cases for enterprise applications.

• Experience designing scalable, secure, maintainable Salesforce solutions.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Einstein AI, Agentforce, generative AI, prompt engineering, or AI model integration.

• Understanding of large language models (LLMs), AI agents, APIs, and intelligent automation.

• Exposure to Python, data science, machine learning frameworks, or AI application development.

• Experience integrating Salesforce with external AI platforms, services, and enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of Salesforce automation tools and enterprise integration platforms.

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git-based source control, automated testing, and deployment tools.

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect, or System Architect.
