Position Overview
A prominent organization is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a permanent, direct-hire placement to deliver hands-on technical guidance across our software engineering division. In this remote-first position, you will be instrumental in defining and executing technology strategy, architecting scalable and resilient solutions, and building reusable components and patterns to boost overall engineering productivity. You will collaborate closely with Product, Architecture, Information Security, and executive stakeholders to convert complex business challenges into secure, long-term software solutions.
The ideal candidate blends deep software engineering expertise with excellent technical judgment, a cooperative mindset, and a proven track record of elevating code quality through active mentorship and continuous improvement.

Core Competencies
  • Technical Guidance: Convert strategic product requirements into reliable technical blueprints and actionable execution plans.
  • System Design & Architecture: Formulate highly scalable, dependable, and secure systems that integrate with modern cloud-native architectural patterns.
  • Engineering Standards: Advocate for automated testing frameworks, robust CI/CD pipelines, comprehensive observability, and high operational readiness.
  • Delivery Leadership: Own technical milestones, proactively mitigate development risks, and consistently ship high-quality incremental value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with distributed international teams and communicate intricate technical frameworks to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
  • Team Mentorship: Foster engineering talent via technical design reviews, constructive feedback, and active knowledge transfer.
  • Technology Innovation: Assess and responsibly integrate emerging technologies, such as AI-assisted development utilities, to accelerate workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, test, deploy, monitor, and scale enterprise-grade production software.
  • Turn business and product milestones into robust technical solutions through an iterative delivery approach.
  • Establish reusable frameworks, libraries, and tooling to maintain architectural consistency across engineering groups.
  • Lead technical design sessions, code reviews, and deep-dive troubleshooting investigations.
  • Implement modern DevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing gates, and telemetry tracking.
  • Identify systemic architectural bottlenecks and implement durable, data-backed solutions over temporary patches.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate debugging, unit test creation, and documentation while maintaining complete ownership of final code security.
  • Evaluate emerging tech stacks to reduce system friction and enhance overall user and client experiences.
  • Provide occasional on-site support at corporate or client facilities as operational needs dictate.

Required Background & Experience
Education & Experience
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
  • Experience Level: 5 to 7 years of deep professional software engineering experience.
Technical Skills & Toolkit
  • Modern Stacks: Strong hands-on experience building production-grade systems using multiple programming languages and modern framework ecosystems.
  • Cloud & Containers: Proven experience working inside the Azure cloud ecosystem along with containerization tools like Docker .
