Position Summary

As HCP Personal Marketing Lead you will own the strategy, development, execution, and optimization of HCP personal promotion and speaker programming initiatives supporting Praxis' movement disorders program. This role will translate brand strategy, customer insights, and clinical evidence into compelling, compliant promotional tools and experiences that support meaningful HCP engagement in a large-market environment.

Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Commercial Operations, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and external partners, this individual will lead field promotional initiatives and HCP speaker programs, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and effective execution. This is a hands-on role for an experienced HCP marketer who understands the demands of larger commercial markets, can drive cross-functional alignment, and continuously improve promotional effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead HCP personal promotion strategy, translating brand objectives, customer insights, segmentation, and positioning into clear priorities for field engagement and promotional initiatives.
  • Own the development and optimization of field promotional materials, including core sales resources, clinical data presentations, objection-handling tools, and other materials that support effective, differentiated HCP conversations.
  • Lead HCP speaker programming, including speaker bureau planning, speaker identification and onboarding, training, program execution, and ongoing speaker readiness, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Sales Training to support launch readiness, field execution, and consistent brand messaging, incorporating field feedback and evolving customer needs to refine promotional priorities.
  • Translate complex clinical and scientific information into clear, customer-relevant messaging, collaborating with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure promotional materials and programs are accurate and compliant.
  • Lead agency and vendor partners across personal promotion and speaker programming, establishing clear expectations, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Evaluate promotional effectiveness using customer insights, field feedback, speaker program metrics, and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize future initiatives.

Qualifications and Key Success Factors

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in business, life sciences, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology HCP marketing, including personal promotion, field promotional materials, and/or HCP speaker programming. Pre-launch or launch experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated large-market pharmaceutical marketing experience required, including experience supporting broad HCP audiences and field-based promotional execution at scale. Experience in CNS, neurology, or movement disorders preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical promotional practices, field-based HCP engagement, and relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners, manage agencies and vendors, and deliver high-quality work against competing priorities and timelines.
  • Strategic, analytical, and hands-on approach, with strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • The physical and mental requirements of our roles include but are not limited to regular use of a computer, devices or other office equipment, clear communication, and occasional movement. You'll need comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and focus. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these functions.
