Senior Project Manager

Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 15+ years of experience managing complex IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, budgeting, resource management, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale, complex IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, senior leadership, vendors, and technical teams.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and provide executive-level status reports.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
• Manage change requests, scope changes, and project priorities.
• Establish project governance, processes, and performance metrics.
• Drive Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives where applicable.
• Coordinate multiple projects/workstreams and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage third-party vendors and external partners when required.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 15+ years of overall IT experience, with significant experience in project/program management.
• Strong experience managing large-scale enterprise IT projects.
• Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Strong Project Planning, Risk Management, Budgeting, and Resource Management skills.
• Excellent Stakeholder and Executive Management experience.
• Experience with SDLC and software development life cycle.
• Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and/or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with project governance, status reporting, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP certification preferred.
• Scrum Master / Agile certification is a plus.
• Experience working with cloud, digital transformation, data, application modernization, or enterprise technology projects.
• Experience working with distributed/global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.
