Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Downtown Dallas Hybrid

 Duration: Long Term

As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing requirements, managing stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, document requirements, and translate them into actionable tasks for the development team.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and gather requirements
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
• Manage product backlogs and user stories using tools like JIRA
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
• Conduct data analysis, write SQL queries, and validate backend data
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and track defects
• Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution
• Model processes, map data flows, and maintain documentation using tools like Visio
• Drive end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities

Required Skills:

• Experience in stakeholder management and gathering requirements
• Proficiency in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tools like JIRA for managing product backlogs
• Hands-on experience in data analysis and SQL queries
• Previous experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Certification in Business Analysis or related field is a plus
