Head of Finance & Accounting (w/m/d)

Wholesale (B2B): National accounts, independent and specialty retailers
Direct-to-Consumer (D2C): Company website, Amazon Marketplace, and retail stores
With over 3,000 retail partners and expanding digital and retail operations, we are building a finance organization that can support scale, complexity, and speed. We are seeking a Director of Accounting & Finance to take full ownership of the finance function and build a high-performing, process-driven organization.

Stabilizing and accelerating financial operations
Building structure, discipline, and accountability
Creating a scalable finance foundation to support growth
Accounting Leadership & Month-End Close
Lead full month-end close (target: ≤Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial statements
Finance Team Leadership
Lead and develop the finance team:
Accounting Manager
Senior Financial Analyst
A/R, A/P & Credit Management
Strengthen collections and reduce DSO
Implement and enforce credit policies
Manage vendor payment processes and cash flow timing
Improve working capital and cash conversion cycle
Financial Reporting & Visibility
Cash Flow
Support development of dashboards and performance reporting
Multi-Channel Financial Operations
Manage financial complexity across:
Wholesale (national accounts, independents)
Oversee reconciliation across platforms and ensure margin visibility
Process Improvement, Systems & Controls
Implement automation and process improvements
Document and standardize SOPs across finance
Business Partnership & Performance financial performance
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
~10+ years of experience in accounting/finance leadership roles
~ inventory and cost accounting
~ financial reporting and controls
~ working capital and cash flow management
Experience with Amazon, Shopify, and national account operations
ERP system experience (Mast 90, OMS, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
Direct visibility and partnership with ownership
