Senior Business Analyst, VET Data Streamlining ProgramSalary: $116,413 - $140,849 (Plus Superannuation)Fixed term role: 12 monthsUsual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)Usual work location: Ballarat GovHub / 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)The RoleThe Senior Business Analyst leads business analysis activities across the VET Data Streamlining (VDS) Program to support implementation of national VET data reforms in Victoria. The role works closely with business and program stakeholders to understand current-state processes, identify business impacts, define future-state requirements and develop practical solutions that support improved data quality, streamlined reporting and operational efficiency.Main accountabilities:Innovative thinking and analysis influences developments within area of responsibilityPrepares technical reports at an advanced professional levelDevelops project briefs consistent with business plan directionContributes to strategic business planning Interprets and applies business plans and policies in own area of responsibility and provides advice to others on implementation issuesThe TeamThe position of Senior Business Analyst, VET Data Streamlining Program forms a part of the Training Operations and Assurance branch within the Skills and TAFE group.Skills and TAFE (ST) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.
