CNC Mill Machinist/Operator

Volt is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift CNC Mill Machinist/Operator for a manufacturing companyin Spring Valley Ca.

As a CNC Mill Machinist/Operator you will:

• Solid understanding of CNC Mills.
• Determine setup procedures, control settings, machining methods and sequences
• Independently setup and control settings on CNCs
• Establish work offsets and set cutting tools
• Knowledge of cutting tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to follow BOM
• Read and Interpret blueprints, shop instructions, customer drawings, and engineering instructions
• Ability to understand CAD modeling
• Past experience with HAAS and Okuma Brand CNC experience is a plus but not required

This is a Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have

• Required skills & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a machine shop is required.
  • Have knowledge of the manufacturing environment
  • Have knowledge of Aerospace environment and products
  • Must be detail-oriented, extremely thorough and possess good judgment.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English
  • Must know GD&T and have the ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to work weekends.
• Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • The ability to stand for 1 hour a day.
  • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm sometimes 3:30pm

Pay: $20-25 per hour
