ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking an InfoSec and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Analyst to support IT Service Management efforts for USTRANSCOM at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. This position is part of the USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract, providing strategic, technical, and program management guidance to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. You will support the Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6), working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of programs and performing all functional duties with some oversight. The role is primarily Monday through Friday during normal business hours, but may require after-hours or weekend support during planned or emergency events.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Determine and establish enterprise information security standards for USTRANSCOM IT systems.
  • Develop and implement information security standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure all information systems are functional, secure, and compliant with DoD requirements.
  • Respond to computer security incidents, breaches, and viruses as needed.
  • Support IT Service Management efforts, including after-hours and emergency event support when required.
  • Collaborate with the Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6) to facilitate operations and modernization of infrastructure, systems, and applications.
  • Perform functional duties on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of assigned programs with some oversight.
  • Maintain required certifications and adhere to DoD security clearance requirements.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent (5+ years with BS, 3+ years with MS, 0 years with PhD, or 9 years of experience in lieu of degree).
  • DoD Secret clearance or higher.
  • ship required.
  • At least one IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP).
  • At least one Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, McAfee, Microsoft, Linux, Solaris, etc.).
  • Experience determining, developing, and implementing enterprise information security standards and procedures.
  • Ability to ensure information systems are functional and secure; respond to security breaches and viruses as needed.
  • Willingness to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events.
  • Desired: ITIL Foundations (v3 or higher) certification.
  • Desired: One of the IAM Level II certifications (e.g., CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP).
