Job Description

We are establishing a Learning Academy to meet the needs of our growing global business and now have an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Lead – Regional to be based in Chicago. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of exceptional individuals who are passionate about developing and enhancing our learning and development programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Global execution (US remit): Execute global L&D strategy, architecture and program design within the region as part of the Global L&D team, ensuring adoption and alignment to Proxima’s Professional Development Framework

  • Regional scoping and localization: Scope regional learning requirements with regional leaders and input them into the Global L&D team. Enable delivery of global programs with appropriate localization aligned to global intent, standards and outcomes

  • Program, trainer and platform delivery: Deliver key global programs regionally, including in‑person induction and priority interventions. Build regional delivery capacity by identifying, selecting and enabling trainers against centrally defined criteria. Leverage the LMS and learning journeys to drive engagement and a consistent learner experience

  • Targeted regional interventions: Deliver targeted regional learning interventions where needs are not met by the global curriculum, ensuring alignment to global architecture and visibility within the Global L&D team

  • Quality, impact and culture: Ensure programs are delivered on time and to standard, with measurement of learning outcomes and capability impact. Function as the visible L&D leader in the region, fostering a culture of continuous learning through strong facilitation, coaching and role‑modelled behaviors

  • Insight and strategy input: Contribute regional insight, delivery learnings and innovation ideas into the ongoing development and evolution of the Global L&D strategy. Provide evidence-based input on local requirements and emerging best practice, while operating within and reinforcing the global learning architecture

Your Experience

  • Proven strong experience in hands-on delivery of professional learning and development, in the US

  • Skilled in instructional design and stakeholder collaboration, with a track record of creating and delivering effective professional services, competency-based learning solutions as a subject matter expert

  • Creative and energetic facilitator with excellent coaching, communication, and project management skills

  • Experienced in delivering hybrid learning solutions, with an agile and pragmatic delivery approach to creating content/solutions and deep care for learning

  • Brings training content to life through engaging storytelling, dynamic facilitation, and delivery techniques that create memorable learning experiences

  • Demonstrates strong active listening skills and provides timely, thoughtful responses to requests for guidance and support

  • Ideally understanding procurement or supply chain functions, within a professional services or consultancy environment

  • Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment in a global team that is establishing a new function

  • Flexibility to be on-site and travel for all training as per business requirements
