Computer Systems Engineer - Pega Resource | Lanham, MD, United States | Hybrid | $107,900.00 - $195,050.00

We're hiring on behalf of a leading technology and defense company known for delivering innovative solutions to government and commercial clients. The Role

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Pegasystems (Pega).
  • Provide operational support for enterprise Pega infrastructure, including reviewing, testing, and implementing patches and upgrades.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain thorough documentation for supported Pega environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the Pega platform.
  • Work collaboratively within a technical support team to ensure seamless Pega system operation.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with 4-8 years of relevant experience (or a Master's Degree with 2-6 years of experience).
  • Previous experience in business system solution development using Pegasystems (Pega) software.
  • 4+ years of experience building, managing, and supporting Pega operating systems and application platforms.
  • 4+ years of experience with Pega upgrade and patching activities.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot effectively using critical thinking skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Pega tools, including application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, and other Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) features.
