AHRC NYC is seeking an Employment Case Manager for their Bronx Employment Business Services (EBS) Pathway to Employment Program. This position is a great opportunity for a motivated and organized professional who is passionate about helping individuals achieve their employment goals through person-centered planning, work readiness training, and meaningful community partnerships.

Compensation Package: $38,000-$42,000 per year plus a very generous and comprehensive Benefit Package which includes FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE!. See additional Benefit information below.

SCHEDULEMonday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (35 hours/week), with occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Coordinate and conduct person centered services for people enrolled in Pathway to Employment and Community Based Prevocational services
  • Conduct individual (one-on-one) and group activities for program participants with focus on discovering and developing individual strengths related to employment skills
  • Provide excellent customer service to participants and community partners
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funding sources, service providers, schools, training sites, employers, participants, and families
  • Ensure compliance with program requirements and regulations

Required

  • Associate's degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently when needed
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Experience instructing, coaching, or mentoring program participants

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Valid NY or Tri-State driver's license in good standing
  • Experience driving a small van
