With its 16 watch brands, the Group is present in all price segments, and is also active in the manufacture and sale of jewelry, watch movements and components. Swatch Group unites, among other companies, the following watch brands under its roof: Breguet, Harry Winston, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Jaquet Droz, Omega, Longines, Rado, Union Glashütte, Tissot, Balmain, Certina, Mido, Hamilton, Swatch and Flik Flak. The Group has a strong distribution and multi-brand retail net with two sophisticated boutiques under the name of Tourbillon and Hour Passion.
Swatch Group is also an important player in advanced nanomechanical, nanoelectronic and Bluetooth technologies essential to watchmaking and other industries. As a Regional Sales Manager with Swatch Group U.S, you will be responsible for managing and developing existing wholesale accounts throughout the Midwest region to achieve the planned sales budget and support the Hamilton brand’s overall annual sales objectives. We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented sales professional with a strong ability to build and maintain exceptional retailer relationships.
This role will oversee the assigned Hamilton brand territory and will play a key role in driving sales growth, strengthening account partnerships, and ensuring consistent brand execution across the region. Develop the distribution channel in accordance with brand strategy. Manage the territory in an effective manner including selling activities, stock management, merchandising, account servicing and coop marketing activities. Develop an annual business plan for the assigned territory in conjunction with Brand manager to support opportunity mapping, company sales goals, strategies and forecasts.
Understand the target market/consumer and successfully influences decision-makers to maximize sales potential. Provide solutions to meet customers' needs. Follow the sell-out and the quality of the company appearance by the national point of sales. Maintain a ‘hands on’ presence at retail and wholesale location for training, ensure proper installation and report lessons learned to improve future growth efforts. Gain complete information for all quotation requisitions including application, specification, pricing and timing requirements.
Track and report expenses and other relevant data as appropriate or as requested. Training is also part of the job and presence at promotional events, including over the counter, group and classroom style. Explore, develop and implement changes to increase in-store visibility and sell-through (including training and case space negotiation). Communicate regularly with Brand Manager on status of accounts. Complete forecasts, sales analysis and other relevant reports. Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Must have at least 3+ years of wholesale selling experience in a jewelry or luxury watch organization (will consider candidates with experience from other industries). Self-motivated, results driven, professional sales person. Proficiency with computer programs including Excel and Word. Ability to travel within assigned regional territory up to 85% of the time. Excellent selling and customer service skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; Fluency in English and other languages as required by locations in the dedicated.
Must have a valid driver’s license and full auto insurance coverage required and be able to operate an automobile for up to six hours at a time. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality. Willing to travel overnight as required by the position and territory; must be able to travel via airplane.
This position requires the Regional Sales Manager to meet the physical demands (operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move) and necessary mental alertness to frequently travel to and walk within customer facilities. Able to understand and utilize financial statements as a management tool
