The role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Android, to help build and improve our mobile applications. In this role, you will contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality features while growing your expertise in native Android development. You will work in a collaborative, remote-first environment alongside experienced engineers, contributing to both new features and ongoing improvements to the app.

How you will contribute in this role:

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern frameworks.
• Build user interfaces and features in collaboration with Product and Design.
• Contribute to application architecture and code quality within the team.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Debug issues and help improve application performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews and team engineering practices.
• Work with backend services and APIs to deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Support testing, release, and CI/CD processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in Android development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Android frameworks (e.g. Jetpack Compose, Android SDK).
• Experience building and shipping mobile applications.
• Understanding of mobile development fundamentals, including UI patterns and performance considerations.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
• Exposure to testing practices and CI/CD workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
