Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an ERP Systems Officer to join Staffordshire County Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday,
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake process mapping of existing ("as-is") processes and develop future-state process maps.
- Identify and document business requirements and support the delivery of solutions against those requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and re-engineering within the new ERP solution.
- Develop and deliver business processes and technical specifications in line with policies, legislation and service requirements.
- Support system design and ERP implementation activity.
- Write User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and provide technical testing support.
- Provide system advice, guidance and support to end users, including investigating and resolving system issues.
- Support change management activity and help prepare staff for new ways of working.
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and change champions, providing specialist advice on ERP functionality and its impact across different service areas.
- Coordinate meetings and forums and act as a central point for identifying improvements and resolving ongoing user issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation throughout the implementation programme.
Requirements:
- Experience delivering business change within a technical/system environment.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders and organisations at different levels.
- Experience working within project management disciplines and methodologies.
- Experience developing system specifications and performance standards.
